Skyward Sword not seeing nunchuck

Alrighty here is the problem and I am sure its a simple fix, im just to new right now to actually figure it out. Trying to play skyward sword and it keeps asking me to plug in the nunchuck, which it is, but is never detected.

This is what I got in terms of software and hardware:

Dolphin 3.0-201 64 bit
Windows 7 64 bit
Processor: Intel Core 2 quad 2.5GHz
Ram: 16GB
Video card: Radeon HD 6900 series
standard black wiimote and chuck with infrared and Bluetooth usb.

the settings in dolphin are the same from this thread:

other games seem to work fine...so i am scratching my head on this one. Also noticed that unlike previous versions there is not emulated nunchuck option, not sure if that has something to do with it.

starting with most simple thing... have you Wiimote plus ?
