Ok so, i'm totally new to the whole Dolphin scene, so bear with me
ive been fiddling with these settings and digging through the forum for a better part of a day and cant seem to find the help i need, so im just gonna break down and be one of those people that just asks someone to spell it out for me. XD
So ive got dolphin, got skyward sword. At first it didnt work, gave me that "connect a wii mote" message, so i got the motion plus script, then that didnt work cause when i put that in, it like Locked the controls so i couldnt alter the emulated wii mote keybindings, and still didnt read. then i found someone that had posted their build of dolphin with the script, so i downloaded that, unpacked, and that worked. So now, i can play the game. but the motion seems to be messed up.
First off, Computer specs.
Quad core 3.0 ghz
8 gigs DDR3 ram
ATI radeon 5830 1g graphics
Windows 7 home premium
Im trying to play it with a mouse and keyboard, forgot to add that <_<
Now. Now that ive got that working version of dolphin that lets me play the game, it gets to the screen after the Wii safety warning about the strap, and then it calibrates the wii mote. Well, when its done calibrating and it says "Move cursor to middle of screen and press A" i do, the mouse works perfectly fine when i try to do that, totally responsive and perfectly usable.
But then when it gets to the game itself, on the title screen. Left and right movement seems to work ALMOST right, its a tad sluggish compared to that 'calibrate' screen, and up and down is all but worthless. It sloooooowly follows where my mouses cursor is, it doesnt just like, move too it. so its more like my mouse is acting like a joystick to slowly move the wiimote cursor up and down. And when i get in game, its even worse. Left and right work slightly worse than they do on the title screen, but still somewhat usable. but up and down is like... 5-10% of what it should be, and for some reason INGAME, not on the title screen, up and down is reversed. to make the cursor go up in say, full look mode, i have to move my cursor to the bottom of the screen, but moving it anywhere above that makes it go down instead.
Now, i had a small inkling that it might have something to do with my FPS, cause the fps reader that Dolphin has built in says i average between 20-25 FPS when im actualy in game. but the game seems to run perfectly smoothly. thers no like, lag, clipping or anything like that, it seems to run flawlessly. the only problem is the motion.
So yea... im kinda stuck on what to do <_< not even sure what other info to offer that might help D:
any suggestions? :|
