Skyward Sword crashing issue

Hello everyone,so i recently ran into this crashing issue.Have played Skyward Sword all the way up to getting the fire dragons song piece.Now every time i go to launch the game the game crashes soon as i launch it.So i tried switching to openGL and itll run but its way to far laggy to play on openGL.Im clueless what i should do with this problem or how to resolve it.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks
