So it is not a HID device anymore?
If not the USBlib driver installed correctly.... And your problem lies elsewhere.

It is hard to pinpoint where the trouble starts.
The wii-usb branch worked fine on my desktop, but crashes on my laptop.

Maybe the developer could help you out. I can only help you out as far as my own experience goes, sorry! Angel
