The menus work just fine but any other instance is a bit slow, running at 37 FPS. The audio is also kind of off due to this slowdown. here are my specs:

-Windows 10 Pro x64

-Dolphin 5.0-9717

-Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 Ti

-AMD FX 6300 Six-Core Processor, 3.50 GHz

-8 GB RAM

-Synchronous Ubershaders turned on (After reading a thread about game slowdown I thought it would help but so far it only helps a tiny bit)

Im kind of a noob here so I don't know if there's more specs I should add. Any way to make the game run better besides purchasing the most expensive high performance graphics card?

You definitely don´t want Synchronous Ubershaders on. It can cripple even the beefiest of GPUs. Use Async Ubershaders instead (after switching to D3D).

If performance still sucks then your CPU is killing you.

If your motherboard supports it you can look into overclocking your CPU for a free extra bit of performance. It may or may not be enough to help

It's still 37 FPS even after switching.

And as for overclocking my CPU, I'm not sure that's a good idea, since it could actually destroy my hardware and I definitely don't want that! Is there any other way? Or can Dolphin just not run this game at 60 FPS?

It wouldn´t literally destroy it. It would rather shorten the CPU´s lifespan.

If your cooling system is not enough then it will get shortened at a greater rate. And obviously overheat.

You're running the game at native resolution, correct? You don't have anything set above 1x in the Graphics > Enhancements page?

If so, it just means that your CPU isn't fast enough for this game. AMD's pre-Ryzen CPUs have really low single-core performance. And Dolphin really only uses 2 cores max: one for the CPU thread and one for the GPU thread (sometimes a 3rd core will be used depending on your audio setup). You'll either need to look into overclocking to get more speed out of your current processor, or you'll need to upgrade to a better CPU

You have the low end variant of AMD's worst CPU generation in recent years. you either get a faster CPU (Ryzen or newer, Haswell or newer), which requires essentially a new system, or you just have to deal with the reality that your system isn't cut to run Dolphin.
