It's a performance increase for very low end GPUs that cannot handle hybrid mode ubershaders (Think, old Intel iGPUs).

It comes at the cost of breaking various effects in games and depending on how many shaders generate, pop in for effects. We can't fix that.

*sigh*

Did you really need to open a new thread just for that? The description text in the UI is pretty self-explanatory and basically the same as Helios just said Dodgy

I'm starting to think you do this on purpose, I don't see any other possibilities here.

About 15 hours ago I read the entire PR #6443 linked here :
https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/6443.

They spent 10 days discussing and arguing on how this setting should be implemented in the GUI, and how to phrase things to make it as clear as possible to people. And yet here you are, not 4 hours later, asking what the setting is…
OS : Windows 11 Pro
CPU : i7-7700K (4.8 GHz)
GPU : GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 HYBRID (2 GHz)
RAM : G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB DDR4 3000 MHz C14

Just by reading the description of the option in Dolphin it should be obvious that it is much less accurate than the other modes. And it's also not a magic performance increase, it really just tries to decrease stuttering a bit more by not rendering stuff until the shader is ready if I've interpreted it properly myself.

You have, it's especially useful on Android and weak graphics cards in general if you absolutely want smoothness and don't care about minor rendering issues.

chumpz, please do some research next time. Look at GitHub and check out the discussions next time you see a new feature.
