Question
Hello

I've searched the archives a lot and found quite many threads, concerning this game, but I still can't find a way to fix my problem...

Missing textures - that is my problem: http://img209.imageshack.us/g/geae8p6.png

I am using revision R6262 32 bit with SSE3 optimizations.

My rig is Intel Core 2 Duo 6400 2.13Ghz CPU, 4GB RAM, NVidia GeForce 8800 GTS 384M VRAM, 32 bit Vista (with disabled Aero and other enhancements).

OpenGL plugin works awfully for me (it was ok in Dolphin 2.0, though...), so I'm using DX plugin (default settings, but normal Safe Texture Cache and Forced bit/trilinear filtering).

The game's running quite well (especially in comparison with Dolphin 2.0), but please tell me, what should I do to fix the textures...

Right-click the game ,"Properties" select SOAL Hack
If it still not working then use OpenGL plugin

Ah, now I see! I never imagined the games could be configured separately, because I always used manual game loading... Thank you very much, Admin89 - it works! Smile

And your sound is working? for me the music is all distorted on the latest revisions.

Well, saying that this game works perfectly is an exaggeration of course, because it always hangs during intro (when camera looks at a pyramid in a desert) and there are some red circles under characters, but the game looks playable and the sound is not too bad, I thought it would be much worse after reading all the threads, concerning it... Ryanphlp2002, have you tried setting auto framelimit in general settings tab? Setting Dolphin process priority to High (not Realtime, though!) should also help a bit.

There is some crackling sometimes (reminds me of playing scratched CDs) and the quality of music, sounds and voices is pretty average (by the way, the sound is very good during intro even though FPS ranges from 9 to 29), but this is a game for GC, which was ported from DC, so I think the sound is quite fine the way it is. The video desync (which sometimes happens after loading a save state), crashing during intro (not a big deal, though, since one can find both versions of intro on youtube...) and some kind of focus loss (hotkeys work only once and after switching to Dolphin's main window and back) - now that is a problem...

By the way, I played only until first save point, so maybe I am too enthusiastic saying that the game is playable and the sound is fine (I haven't reached world map yet)...

Anyway, I would like to thank all Dolphin's developers - great job! I just hope you guys won't stop polishing / debugging the emulator...
