hi,
the thing is dolphin works just fine for me as long as it's just me who's playing.
As soon as I add another Controller it lags like hell and the speed drops from 95%-100% to 50% and below. I tried this with a couple of games (mario bros, mario kart,...)
I droped all settings to minimum but its still too slow,
these are my specs:

win 7 pro
AMD Phenom™ 9850 Quad-Core Processor, 2511 MHz
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT
4gb ram

That's normal , multiplayer = dolphin render more things
Get the aftermarket cooler , thermal compound then overclock your CPU

I don't think that's going to be enough. Phenom cpus can only be overclocked up to around 3.0GHz on stock voltage and not much higher than that with a voltage bump. Combined with that fact that they have terrible performance per clock means he's probably going to need a cpu upgrade.
