They're just being realistic. The GC/Wii is harder to emulate than the PS2, and requires a strong CPU to drive it.
Light-weight game like NSMB will probably be playable on it if "EFB copies to RAM" is disabled
I tried that game on the older Intel SOC (N2807 @ 1.58 -> 2.16GHz turbo boost) , I got 30FPS which is half-speed. I had to use lowest resolution ofc Xenoblade is not light-weight game . So don't hope too much I wouldn't say it's enjoyable to run game at that resolution . I rather buy a Wii (for like $20) Edit : I tried Xenoblade .
