Hey all,

I've been having the issue stated in the topic for a few months now. I've been trying to figure it out myself, but to no avail. I've been trying to play Twilight Princess because I missed out on it back in the day. I have no problems running Dolphin whatsoever, but it just crashes suddenly after a while; no lag or anything leading up to it (PCSX2 does the exact same thing, by the way. Plays perfectly fine, but then crashes after a while). This never happened when I was running Windows 8.1 or even 7. However, I feel like it's an isolated issue because I asked around on Reddit and nobody said they were having problems with Windows 10 and Dolphin.

So, now I'm here on the official forums, hoping someone has an idea of what's going on. I love Dolphin; I've used it for years, but only now is it having problems on my end.
If anybody knows what the problem is, I'd greatly appreciate any and all help!

Use either the latest 5.0-rc build or dev build, as 4.0.2 is old and buggy.
Make sure your GPU drivers are up to date, along with your Intel management drivers.

Hm, updating to the version 5.0-rc-35 seems to have fixed it. I usually steer clear of release versions and primarily use the versions labeled as "stable".
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to help me out! Time to finally play through Twilight Princess!

stable is garbage and old.

Our release cycle is pretty bad. 90% of the time dev releases are more stable. They also have more bugfixes and huge optimizations that won't be in 5.0

Alright, I'll keep that in mind for the future. Thanks for the tip.
