Around a year or so ago, not long after the official 5.0 release, Sin and Punishment started running real slow when it transitions to a different screen. But after that it runs fine again. But the wiki page still says it runs perfect with EFB to texture only disabled. Can someone take a look into this?
Sin and Punishment Star successor runs in slow motion during screen transitions

can someone please at least confirm this?
I've also noticed the last year or so, most of the updates are exclusively for android and the windows x64 build has been largely neglected in favor of the android build. Someone needs to update the Windows build and stop neglecting the Windows build in favor of improving the Android build. Not like many people have a powerful enough Android device for Dolphin anyway. 10-08-2020, 10:23 PM

Right after 11333 I believe, meaning 11333 was the last version I tested where sin and punishment still runs with no slowdown

That doesn't seem to be something that would make a difference unless there was someone kind of optimization that broke.

Okay, I found the culprit, 11524. Last version to run it with no slowdown is 11522. Can someone fix this regression?

That's the version that added the "Skip Presenting Duplicate Frames" setting. Does changing that setting affect the issue?

Yes, enabling skip duplicate frames fixes it. What I want to know is was this option always enabled on the older builds?
