Sims 2 Castaway wont work

So ive been trying to play the sims 2 castaway for a few days but I keep getting that unknown pointer error and crashing, and thatd be fine but it happens so frequently that it makes it impossible to enjoy the game, the longest I got was 20 minutes before it crashed again and that was on the developmental version. so I decided to try and play it on the stable versions and see if that helped but I cant get them to run it. I tried 5.0 and it just opened to a black screen and sat there until I forced it closed. Ive tried changing the back end and the adapter but nothing seems to work. I even tried the 4.0 version and 4.0.1 and opening it in those caused dolphin to stop responding at all. Im not really a tech person so I dont know what else to try.

If anyone can think of anything let me know.

What are your dolphin settings? Have you tried disabling dual core?

I have and it didnt help any.

and what settings do you want to know?

Can you please verify your dump?
1. Right click the game in Dolphin's gamelist
2. Properties
3. Verify-tab
4. Verify Integrity
5. Copy the MD5 hash
6. Post the MD5 hash here.
