Simplified Dolphin/Individual game launching.

I always thought you had to make the shortcut point to a file or folder? The only way I know that you can get a shortcut to execute CLI stuff is if that shortcut points to a batch file (which the OP wants to avoid?) The point was I didn't think you could do that in Windows without relying on batch files. Do tell if you know of a way that bypasses batch files.

@Winchester7314 - How does Steam launch applications? XBMC, for example, accepts commands and does exactly what you want Steam to do (e.g. you put in something like "path\to\dolphin-emu.exe \e path\to\game", and it will launch Dolphin as if you'd entered in that bit into the CLI, but from a slick, unified interface). If you can do that with Steam, you shouldn't have any trouble running individual games in Steam. I'm fairly certain other users have done as much with Dolphin and Steam already (search the forums for threads).

Yes thats how steam works, and yes I can launch individual games, I guess the main problem is it would be nice if dolphin itself could launch a set game automatically. Im trying to go directly from the steam shortcut to the game not steam shortcut-dolphin-game
