I want to play Skyward sword and Sports resort. I have dug through the forums before joining looking for answers on emulating motion+ and have seen that emulating it is not supported.
My very simple questions here are:
If I go buy a Wiimote and motionplus and use bluetooth etc, will I be able to play those games with Dolphin. Yes? No? If not, I won't bother buying the controller.
If the answer is yes, then I'll come back with questions about how to set it up when I need to do that.
If the answer is no then I will either scour the internet for an older unsupported version of Dolphin or sell my game. My sister (another household) has a Wii, but she has less than no interest in Zelda, and wouldn't be remotely inclined to let me borrow her Wii or remotes (and I don't own or want a tv anyway), so I have a game I'm not getting to play and I've already ripped the disc so I can play at home.
Yes buy remotes, or no don't bother - go sell my game?
Edit:Sorry, was frustrated before, and didn't mean to be so blunt and to the point.
For the record, let me add that Dolphin is a great emulator that's given me plenty of use for playing my gamecube games when my gamecube was stolen, and so far except for the issue I posted about, it seems to play everything (GC or Wii) flawlessly.
As useless at it would be for functionality, a simple toggle to make games think a motion+ had been plugged in would enable people to play those games. Those of us using controllers instead of remotes can be very creative when setting up the configs...
