simple pad plugin wont work!

Hi there, been working at this for about 3 hours now, downloaded dx9c visual c++ thing off requirement sticky and have the newest dolphin build, downloaded from Emulator-zone yesterday. When i try to play super smash brothers melee, it comes up with the "cant read simplepad.II" thing followed by "cant read any pad plugins", "Cant init the core" etc...I dont know what to do..I have 2G ram, 32 bit processor, and 2Ghz Dual core..idk if that helps
