Hello everybody, I hope my signature contains enough information about my PC specs. I recently completed Skyward Sword on my Wii and loved it, I would now like to play it in 720p by using my PC to emulate the game.

Would it be a good idea to upgrade my PC to attempt to run SS or should I get a new PC to do this?

I'm open to all options at the moment and appreciate any help. Thanks.

I have a Wii motion + controller that came with the game, so as far as I know I think that will work. Yep, might sound crazy but I love the game and I'm willing to spend money to play it on my PC with more graphic fidelity. Smile

There's no shame for spending some extra $$$ to play these games for higher experience.
If you're actually serious starting using Dolphin as a real substitute then I would recommend buying a new computer altogether and use the old one for something else.

Thanks for the reply, ok, I'm now looking to pick up a new machine, just started looking at UK suppliers and wondered if the cheaper ones on this page would be any good? http://www.wired2fire.co.uk/ccc.php?systype=2
Actually at first glance this seems more like your rig, is that right? http://www.ukgamingcomputers.co.uk/chronos-i7-gaming-computer-p-97.html

Those are all overpriced, you could build something similar and better for less.
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1)
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333

Yeah buying the parts and building it yourself is a greater idea.
It's fairly easy if you have patience and take the time needed.
Very little can go wrong but there is things to look out for, there is tons of guides on the net about it.
