Gah >.< so many conflicting advice.

Still, if the activity monitor is showing 99% then that at least means that it's maybe a shader issue and that a graphics card with more stream processors would be of benefit no?

And btw, the "Zelda is more graphically demanding than Skyrim" comment was of course tongue in cheek.

It's also not beyond the realms of possibility that graphics drivers could be optimized to better support dolphin, not that it's ever going to happen but ya know... it's possible.

Thanks for the info guys. Gonna upgrade my graphics card before I go for the full system upgrade and see how that goes. I'm going for a 560Ti and if it doesn't help with dolphin then at least it will benefit all my other games. I plan a CPU, Mobo and RAM upgrade next year anyway so eventually this machine will keep up Tongue
