I changed my Dolphin user folder to a network drive using regedit. I want to share the user folder between two different Dolphin installations. This setup seems to be working fine with Wii games, but I'm having trouble with GameCube. When I format and save to the memory card on one build and attempt to load it on another build, I am prompted to format the memory card.

This seems odd, because you should be able to transfer GameCube saves to different Dolphin builds, right (e.g., when you update to a new version of the emulator)? Or is the memory card somehow tethered to a particular PC?

Any help is appreciated.

Go to Config > GameCube and make sure that the memory cards are set to a location that's on the network drive.
