Hey I have a Razer Phone 2 Android Pie 9, dolphin versión 5.0 9494 v3 currently, I play with a gamepad Gamesir G4s and almost every game that I've tried works perfect or nearly perfect, 52 if I'm not mistaken, need to try more.
I'll suggest a few changes if possible: add an option to adjust the sensitivity of the gamepads, another one to choose shorting between game ID, name and most used and another to select if you want big covers or small.

Here is my config:

It works for most games, in some you need to tweak the emulated cpu speed to get better fps and in RE series deactivate few hacks to avoid black screens, if you use gpu texture decoding with Vulcan it crashes the games all the time and it causes graphical issues on open gl on the majority of them anyways.
The only ones that can't manage to make them work at 100% are Def jam figth for NY wich is so slow to play, F Zero GX that works at 50-60 fps but in the countdown at the race start the fps drops a lot while the race is fine, both Mario's galaxy are a bit tricky because you need to activate and deactivate "skip access from cpu" constantly in order to get nice fps and make the pointer work properly, in metroid prime 2 you need to do this aswell to scan objects but with "store efb copies to texture only" instead and in the last story can't get rid of the known graphic bug even deactivating "Store efb copies to texture only" like the wiki suggests.
Later I'll try to share some vids if could be helfull.
