In 4.0.2, all I had to do was bind shake x, y and z of the wiimote and nunchuk to the Square button, and then hold it down. Now, in 5.0, I've tried a bunch of different combinations of buttons and I have no idea what's wrong. I initially just downgraded to 4.0.2, but later levels made the game lag to an unplayable level (turning it down to minimum settings did nothing), so I had to go back to 5.0. I've also searched numerous old threads about this issue and the few that had answers didn't work for me. Does anyone know how to fix this?

apparently you need to flick up and down instead of really shake (at least in the video's that i've seen) try only binding the Z-axi of the shake controls (aparently they also need to be alternating, so if wimote goes up, the numchuck should go down and vice versa) so alternating between your two bound buttons should do the trick. I do not own the game myself though so I am unable to check it.
Also please make sure to download and use the latest development version from the top of the download page.
