number 1. is wrong: Download the latest devbuild as in the past few weeks netplay has received a metric shitton of updates and QoL patches.
and at number 2 you should also make sure ALL the settings are EXACTLY the same, not a single one should be different, controllers and so on should be EXACTLY the same.
