I just downloaded Dolphin 4.0 for Mac.

I don't know how to configure the keyboard controls for the Gamecube.

I'm trying to run the game Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. It says "Press any key" at the beginning but nothing works.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I finally figured it out. I went to GCPad and under devices, used Keyboard. So simple.

I am also having issues with the controls working on my macbook. I've tried switching the controls over to keyboard and still no luck.

I'm also having problems, I have an xbox one controller with the necessary driver (which shows its working fine) but I have no response from the Dolphin GameCube Controllers Configuration menu.

Port 1 - Standard Controller
Configure Menu - Input/0/X360Controller (No Response)

I have also tried to use the keyboard with no luck, but this time I get a response from the Configure Menu.

Port 1 - keyboard
Configure Menu - keyboard/0/Apple Extended USB Keyboard (I have a Response)

Start Game (GameCube Game) but have no response from the Keyboard

I'm a little disappointed because I thought this would be one of the fundamental parts of the emulator that would have no problems working, joypad yes, maybe a little teething problems but having keyboard problems like this seems very bad.

thanks in advance for any help

The "Port 1" setting is to select the virtual device that goes into the virtual gamecube controller port. In your case, you should select "Standard Controller" even if you want to play with keyboard controls. This tells Dolphin to insert a plug in a gamecube gamepad. Selecting "Keyboard" in "Port 1" is telling Dolphin to plug in a GameCube keyboard in.

I have no idea why your XBox One controller is not working.
