I’ve received my generic BT usb stick last Friday and I’m getting very frustrated with it, because it takes me about 5-10 minutes to get it working with MS BT stack each time a reboot the system. The BT was recognized as CSR Radio or something with a few other BT devices. These are the steps I perform to get my wiimote working under dolphin.
1) From BT menu I click on add a device and at the same time I press 1+2 on wiimote, than sometimes win7 finds a device and assign proper name to it.
2) Than I do pair without assigning pairing number, and if everything goes well I get HID driver successfully installed and it is ready to use or not successfully installed.
3) If 2) is unsuccessful I remove the device and I perform 1) and 2) again until it works.
4) Then I open the dolphin, I go to dolphin wiimote setup and I’m able to pair the device (quick rumble on the remote).
5) After that everything seems to be working, except I get sporadic (annoying) wiimote disconnect messages.
Next time I reboot my system I can see Wiimote still under BT devices, but wiimote doesn’t want to pair up in the dolphin. I can see windows 7 is trying to install driver for it, but it fails…. So I go thru 1-3 again….
Am I doing something wrong?
I’ve read somewhere that I should the Radio driver to MS Wireless Tranceiver for BT (option 3 afterwards)?
Some people buy BS to get it working?
