setting Load Path to somewhere other than documents

Hi, I installed some custom textures for the prime trilogy and it works fine when using the default path in documents on my C drive. However it's taking up space on one drive, and one drive won't let me exclude subfolders, so I want dolphin to load textures from my secondary hard drive. However, it won't for some reason, I copy the contents here (D:\Emulators\Gamecube+WII\Mods\textures\R3ME01) but it's not picking up the textures and I have no idea why?
