Did anyone manage to solve this issue? I still have this issue using the latest build. I have been forced to use opengl plugin since this issue happened. Thank you.
Serious problem with the Direct3D9 plugin & CPU->EFB access (all games are affected)

The issue is with drivers or the fact you are using an older card that doesn't properly support a feature Dolphin requires, not with Dolphin itself. The reality of this is that there is likely very little that can be done by the developers themselves to fix the issue, you will either need to buy a newer card or try different drivers to see if one of those solves your problems. Several ATI and Nvidia users, including myself are playing with CPU->EFB Access enabled with no issues whatsoever other than the normal performance hit that enabling CPU->EFB access causes.

While I don't have that exact issue in Mario Kart there are a few locations in Twilight Princess where the Textures are overlapping that didn't exist in the 59xx revisions. I'd screen shot it but it's basically every other screen so one screen would look normal as would the next.
Processor: Intel Core i7 940 @ 4.01Ghz
Card name: EVGA GTX 580 Monitor: 1920x1200 WFP07 Memory: 6148MB RAM Sound: ASUS Xonar Essence STX Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit
I've experiencing this "missing polygons" issue since the beginning of 6xxx builds. Only D3D is affected. Seems to be an ATi only problem?
EDIT: D3D11 plugin runs perfect. D3D9 only issue, then. Main Rig:

Nope not an ATI problem, many ATI users have no problem. It's more likely a driver/hardware issue than a Dolphin issue else everyone would be experiencing this issue, or at least more that the few members that are reporting this problem in this thread. Look at darkshadw's post, he has ATI and is having no problem, same for many other ATI/Nvidia users.
Things to try: - Disable OpenCL, could be bugged with some drivers. - Delete the shadercache files in /User/ShaderCache and let them re-generate. - Try tweaking or messing with other options. - Try different drivers. It could be a hardware issue, a missing feature on some/older ATI cards that Dolphin depends on. It seems that certain ATI cards might not support a certain feature under DX9, but do with DX11 and OpenGL similar to Intel graphics and depth textures under DX9. The card is not from this year, but we're not talking about a 9200 or crappy Intel IGP graphics here, dude . I don't think it's about a missing feature. I hope it can be fixed, so they can take their sweet time if it can be. Main Rig:

Has this problem always existed with CPU-> EFB access enabled? As I mentioned it may not support a feature that is needed by Dolphin, Intel graphics don't support depth textures with the DX9 plugin so I presume it's the same issue or a similar issue with older ATI cards and drivers. If it works fine with the DX11 plugin and/or the OpenGL plugin then that is most likely the issue.

at least for me, when playing the 1st baten kaitos, which has known graphical glitches, having cpu->efb access enabled will freeze up the game when opening the deck menu. i haven't tried other gc games with it on but as far as wii games, no issues if it's enabled or not.
i usually have it off but until yesterday when i went back to play baten kaitos i couldn't remember why i never had it enabled

I look at these graphical issues and I'm reminded of when PCSX2 had similar issues. As I recall, the issues revolved around the Z buffer and the fact that the dx9 plugin for PCSX2 only had 16 bit color table(or something, I can't quite remember the details), and they resolved it by going true color(24 bit). I doubt the situation is exactly identical, but it's something to look into.
