hi i've been using dolphin since 3.5 and always thought it was one of the best emulators i've ever seen everything worked just perfectly! despite performance today i've downloaded the 5.0-rc-1 mac version and while the difference in performance between 4.5 and this one is night and day i've also encountered serious problem first of all the controller doesn't work anymore while it detects it none of the buttons work so i thought let's try refreshing BANG the system goes panic so i thought ok fine let's play with the keyboard that works perfectly after 20 minutes of playing mgs the twin snakes and noticing 60 stable everywhere without any non recommended speedhack as supposed to 30-45 fps on 4.5 with speedhacks and 20-30 without them i tried closing the emulator and BANG another system panic i don't even have the stupidest idea of what causes this system panic

4.5 doesn't exist, I guess you mean 3.5?

For the crashes itself, you may check when it get wrong, but this is a huge effort.
Is 4.0 broken? If no, is 4.0-4000 broken? If yes, is 4.0-2000 broken? If no, is 4.0-3000 broken, ...
So you should be able to get the exact revision within ~14 steps.

So issues are much easier to fix if you know exactly what did break.

i fixed it! the kernel panic happend because the emulator somehow messed up the recongnization of the controller don't worry guys it's not your emulator fault, it's the driver fault i had a similar problem about a year ago all i did was download a custom version of the driver which fixes this problem here's the link if anyone wants to try it out
