Hi guys nice to meet ya all again! Old fan of dolphin since the very few builds for windows and android ..a dream come true...but now I'm having a serious problem and I have no idea how tho fix this..but I believe, after I have tried every possible valuable setting that I know ...the game either way always stay still around 4 to 6 fps...won't increase at all..the game is in fact FATAL FRAME 4..I own the original jap import disc wich I made a back up ..and nothing...and also tried the patched English version...nothing..no matter what settings I'm playing with...this is the only one game that is seriously affected...all my other games..including fatal frame 2 wii edition are definitely playable and working very well ...and I been seen video of people playing FF4 with no issues...I have a Note 8 with exynoss processor(I know isn't that great but unfortunately the UK edition only have this one as choice...I hope in some help guys..I'm definitely going in crazy making work one of my fav wii titles ..and I dont wanna give up..I need suggestion..how do i report this bug ?it is a open source app ..and I see at the build page ..few same developer are always active proposing new beta version ..I need help people..anything can help..looking forward to talk about it as I think I'm not the only one trying to playing this game ..THANKS for ur attention people ..and is nice to be finally here..hope I can learn a lot about dolphin..as today is one of my fav amo app in the whole android world !!!

Today's phones just aren't fast enough to run all GC/Wii games (and that it's an Enoxys one doesn't help). Then how do u explain the fact that every single game i have (and trust me the list is quite long) is working perfectly at max pse..including project zero 2 wich have basically same graphic engine? Is a bug for sure ..and I know it can be solved..someone already solved it actually ...that's why I'm here asking info..and i dont believe no body's actually had or still have the same issue going on ..thanks for replying ![]()
There can be factors that are much more important than whether games are using the same graphics engine. For instance, Fatal Frame 4 uses EFB access from CPU and Project Zero 2 doesn't.
If most of your games run well, that's nice, but the fact remains that there are some games that you simply can't run fast enough on a phone. Rogue Squadron II is well-known for being slow even on many PCs, for instance. 08-26-2018, 01:49 AM

Will always be a way ...I have faith on that as I been seen my own emulator growing up and making run perfectly other games than before used to simply not working as u said... it cant be..the emu have still to improve otherwise they wouldn't even try to start over again after 2 years ..they will...I was only hoping to know if so far theres any trick to make it work even just by modifying the ini file game (08-26-2018, 01:49 AM)Ethanwinters88 Wrote: Will always be a way ...I have faith on that as I been seen my own emulator growing up and making run perfectly other games than before used to simply not working as u said... it cant be..the emu have still to improve otherwise they wouldn't even try to start over again after 2 years ..they will... The emulator will continue to improve in accuracy and features and such, but you have to accept that when it comes to performance, some things are just impossible. You can't just take any device out there and expect it to be able to emulate everything at full speed, no matter how good the emulator is. Dolphin could probably get a bit faster still, but there is a limit for how much the hardware can handle. Though in the case of Android, a large part of the performance problem is also the graphics drivers. Hopefully an update to that can improve the performance, but you never know if an update actually is going to get release for your phone, or whether it will make things worse in some way... Long press on the game to access the game-specific settings, and turn on Store EFB Copies to Texture Only and Skip EFB Access from CPU (I believe you have to turn them off and then on again if they already are on). This will completely break important parts of the gameplay and I don't know exactly what, so it's not something I would recommend. 08-26-2018, 03:49 AM
