hello,

I dont know if you have the same problem like me, but I dont know why the connection to the sensorbar is so bad! I can do what I want, I can adjust in Dolphin the IR Setting or else the connection to the sensorbar is to short, bad accuracy and have also connection problems! Is this normal on Dolphin, is this a major problem or exists some tricks to fix that??Dodgy

Just picked up my first sensor bar an hour ago, so I am no expert on the matter, but I have noticed a major difference depending on the angle of the sensor bar.

This unfortunately is a big issue for many. Here is what you need ot know to try to fix it.
1) this is an emulator so know that its not perfect.
2) In my experience you need a strong bar. This is a 12 volt sensor bar not a wireless bar.
3) you need an original Nintendo wii controller.

I tried all kinds of lights and found the best was two 50 watt bulbs that were on my entertainment centert. My 3rd party controller didnt work at all, but the OEM one does. Still its hit and miss. It can take up to a minute for the IR to find the lights, then its a bit shaky. In some cases its very jump and impossible to use. Each game is different. In skyward it works great for example. Also I find 2.0 in some ways is better then 3.0 for some games. I'm planning on converting a wii bar to 12 volts and see if this helps.

The biggest issue for the wii bar is the lack of organization in this forum. Everyday there are questions that are the same. I tried to consolidation this all in to one topic but nobody around here reads so it just gets bumped down. The admins seem to be too busy to help on the matter. If you try searching the forums you will find good tips. Its just unfortunate that its not in one place.
