I'd expect that most non-battery-powered sensor bars are made to be plugged into either the Wii's sensor bar power port or one of its USB ports. I don't see why anyone would bother making one that plugs into a normal power outlet when those two ports are normally available, at least. I'd recommend finding one that plugs in via USB or just dealing with the hassle of batteries. (Or build a USB- or wall-outlet-powered bar yourself, if you feel like dabbling in basic electrical engineering.)
