The light that the "camera" of wii produces are a kind of strange light . the human eyes can not see it , you cant know if they are working with just looking at the bar , you must turn on the wii and check if it works

this should work with fake wiimotes or real wiimotes , if that doesn't happens so something es wrong

you can try with two candles too (the candles can replace the sensor bar sometimes) , but you need a dark enviroment , to get it working to the 100%

NOTE: do not worry about if the sensor is connected because the sensor are something totally separated from the computer and even the wii
the only function of the sensor is to emit a light that the wiimote can see , so the wiimote send the information to the Wii or PC ,not the sensor bar , so you must worry only about if the sensor bar has been turned on , how can i do that? simple .just turning on the system en checking if that thing works xD

Sorry for my english Sad

You have a bad wiimote. I would always recommend that you buy a genuine Nintendo controller over a cheap Chinese fake.

You can test if the sensor bar is working by looking at it through a digital camera. The camera can see the light, but you can't. Also, third party Wiimotes are notoriously unreliable, especially with Dolphin. Save yourself the headache and spend a bit extra on genuine Nintendo Wiimotes.
