There should be a Axes box for the main stick. Move it around and see how it behaves.
I guess the source of the problem lies in the controller, but there should be a fix for it in dolphin. The stick maxes out (reaches 0/255) at about halfway in relation to how far I can actually push the stick, which makes sense based on the problems I'm having. Also, there is no way to get a value between 128 and 110 (or its equivalent in all directions). I'm assuming it's a preprogrammed dead zone. I guess when I said I want to "decrease the sensitivity," what I want is a way to grade the stick acceleration more. Meaning, if I push forward on the stick, I want it to reach where I pushed it to slower. Putting it into words, I realize that sounds absurd; the problem is I have like a minimum distance the stick will move the "subject" of the stick in the game. I can't adjust fine details if the game requires it. Anyway...
This still doesn't change the problem of trying to adjust the range by both right-clicking the axis association to bring up the window for it and having absolutely nothing happen. Same result when I edited the text file that contains that information. So, I guess that's a separate issue. But if that's what the other responder meant when he said they fixed that stuff, then I guess this is solved. If not, then there is not an issue on my end (because it's the controller, not Dolphin...that's what I get for going cheap) but an issue with Dolphin unrelated to this.
Thank you for your help. Any other advice offered will be gladly received, otherwise, I think this is pretty much done. Thank You.
