Sending Keystrokes from other apps - Mac OS X

This may seem a bit random, as I havent much in the forums and I have scoured them to the best of my ability. Basically I am using my hacked kinect to send keystrokes to dolphin. I have it watching me on my excercise bike and it is calculating my speed and i want to use that for racing games, sonic, 1st person shooters, whatever.

My kinect and max msp apps work fine - i see the keystrokes in any other app. In fact, they type in the text boxes of dolphin. But they dont actually do anything (either for finding keystrokes or during games). I have toyed with almost every imaginable setting but I am hoping someone has an idea or knows of a prior version that can handle this.

I can also send UDP, but I am not sure what I should be sending exactly and dont quite get the wiimote hex that I assume dolphin expects. But if someone could just list a few messages that might help.

Any advice would be appreciated.
