Hi everyone. I'm new here so please treat me kindly Smile .

My problem is the said. I start Dolphin on my Ubuntu 8.10, and when I load the game (Super Smash Brothers Melee) it crashes completely, and says "Segmentation Fault" as its last line of message. In my machine, I also have Windows XP installed, and when I try to run the same game, (and the only one I got) it DOESN'T crashes, even more, using none of the "speed enhancers" I get 30 fps, so I don't think its my computer.

Here are my computer specs:
Intel core 2 quad at 2.4 GHz per core.
2 GB of ram
300 GB SATA2 hard drive
512 MB GeForce 8500 GT in PCI-E

Thanks in advance.
I would like to add something really funny.

You know by now that if I start the game with the Linux Dolphin, it crashes, and from windows not.
Well, the funny thing is that, if I run the windows version using wine (the windows binary layer implementation in linux), it runs!! Tongue.
Of course it suffers the performance penalty of the virtualization. But its playable, though.

Anyway, I still want to have my Linux version running Sad
