Hey guys I posted this before about 3 months ago with 161 views and not a single comment back so I am going to reword what I posted and see if I get responses. I am using ds4 windows with PS4 controller connected with Bluetooth. Even tho multiple inputs show up one controller is controlling all the inputs. I can only play single player games right now. Used to not do this till dolphin switched from wx.

Works on every other emulator/steam just fine ,just dolphin since they switched from wx to qt. I seen that other people were having issues if they are using ps4 controllers too. Just not a solution... 10-03-2018, 10:09 PM

Used to not do this till dolphin switched from wx. I have no clue about PC`s and just made an account so i could post here... I have the same issue as you do but i found an annoying and "complicated" workaround which i will try to explain... Lets say you are running ds4windows and have your 2 controllers connected. Then you start dolphin and assign the controller that controls everything to one of your custom profiles (i named one "GameCube Layout" for example) and then press close. Then you go to the window in which you can customise your 2nd controller and load up the same custom profile that you used for your first one ("GC Layout" for me). After you loaded it it should show the first controller and respond to its stick movements (those circles you see in the setup window). now select the controller that you actually want to use as the 2nd controller. The menu wont respond to its movements but that doesnt matter. Now you change the name of your custom profile to whatever and save that (for example "GC Layout 2"). Then hit close, open it again an re-select GC Layout 2. Now the menu should respond to your 2nd controller and it should work in game. I know my description is not that clear and the workaround can most likely be done easier but this is how i always do it. The improtant thing is that whenever you save a custom button layout dolphin also saves the controller that was selected at that moment. And always press "close" instead of the x in the top right. I hope i could help you out. |
