I would suggest Prince of Persia... The game dynamics are pretty like GoW...

No more heroes is actually a pretty accurate comparison to god of war. Ok, maybe the main character is not as 'epic' & it's set in the modern day/future but the battle mechanics are very similar. Also some of the bosses are quite a challenge so it's not just a breeze through either game (nhm 1 or 2).

If you want hack n' slash using wiimote, look into a jap game called 'zangeki no reginleiv'. It's a stunning game graphics wise too, considering it's a wii exclusive.

Nmh 2 has one of the most difficult bosses you will ever face this gen, the final boss will nearly drive you insane because of how retardedly difficult he is even at medium difficulty, at bitter difficulty I can only say good luck to you and just try and remain calm because your patience will be sorely tested.

EDIT: I really wish there is a western release for zangeki no renginleiv the videos I've seen of it are awesome and it's 1:1 motion plus so I guess Zelda wii might have similar sword mechanics to it since it's currently the only 3rd person 1:1 motion plus sword fighting game.
