no but i have limited hard drive space.. and when i dump my games to play with the emulator i scrub them so they dont take up soo much space

sometimes when i dont feel like waiting a full day to dump them myself i will just dl it. because it is quicker especially if i get a scrubbed version.. but anything i dl i have a hard copy of.. thats not pirating that backup.

no it's not you are downloading someone else's copy that you did not pay for so that is still piracy anyway you look at it making a backup involves exactly that backing up your OWN PURCHASED VERSION of the game.
