Let me try asking something else: is there a way for me to change the location of screenshots? Like, can I change the folder the screenshots are redirected to?

Apparently it is now hidden by default, and I just forgot I enabled it. Whoops! Regardless, you can use the command I gave you (remember the ~) to access it! Also, you can go to the Go menu, and hold Shift, and then click Library! Nice and easy. Or you can enable it forever by going to your user directory, pressing cmd-J to show view options, and enable "Show Library Folder". There are lots of other ways too!
