When I try to open Dolphin, it opens a small dialogue box on the top left hand side of my screen for a fraction of a second. It says "Scanning for ISOs" and then minimizes and there's no way to open the Dolphin. This just continues to repeat itself everytime I try to open it.
Scanning for ISOs on startup problem.

That means there are something wrong with your config files.
You can delete the files inside User/Config/ to make it work again. But all Config will reset.
...
just open dolphin.ini and find this: Code: MainWindowPosX = -21000 put something generic instead like MainWindowPosX = 295 MainWindowPosY = 75 and it will fix your problem. or simply delete dolphin.ini and reconfigure main dolphin settings again when u start dolphin.

That happens to me all the time! I found a work around in Windows 7:
If you hover over the item on the task bar a preview window will open up, right click in the there and choose "maximise". Then, drag the title bar of the dolphin window, to make is smaller again and to move it around.
