Saving Issue

Before I begin I am using Dolphin version SVN R 6142, the "Dolphin Wiimote new incomplete plugin" and using an Xbox 360 Games for Windows controller. Additionally, the Wii game I have used for testing was New Super Mario Brother's Wii and the GameCube game I used for testing was TLoZ: Wind Waker.

Now my problem is in two part, neither of which effect GameCube games. The first issue is that saves do not seem to "stick" I am able to create an initial save profile but otherwise everything else is forgotten when I close dolphin.

The second issue is when I load a save state from a previous session the controller stops functioning, through it is fine if the state is saved and loaded within the same session.

I hope I was able to explain my question properly and please tell me if any other information is needed.

Savestates don't work 100% with wiimotes currently.
You may need to do Tools->Disconnect/Connect Wiimote 1, after loading a savestate.

NSMBWii doesn't auto save, you can only save after beating a castle.

I know, the manual saves I make from the menu are the ones getting reset.

The quick saves in NSMBWii can only be loaded once.
