Every time I load savestate I have ~90% probability that controls would be dead. They could stop responding immediately after load or after a few seconds, sometimes a full minute later, right when I am chopping monsters...
Is that a problem with the particular game or with emulated wiimote plugin?

Game: Rune Factory Frontier (requires additional classic controller which I don't have and would like to avoid buying)
System: Win7x64, Dolphin r6257 32bit

If I find a decent computer at work, I'm gonna try running it on XP, maybe that'll work.

Update after few tests:
Not 90%, but rather 95 and even 100% after some "critical" savestate.
Another one - when plugin already doesn't respond and I save/load state, it occasionally starts working for a 5-10 seconds and then returns to non-responsive state

Update2:
Tested on XP machine, problem is the same.
Can anyone who played Rune Factory Frontier test if savestates can be loaded properly with real wii controller?
I can find some cash for classic controller if using real wii remote would help. I don't care if I'll need to reconnect it after every load as long as it will work without glitches later.

Please test if r6261 has fixed this problem and report back here.

I tested on 6262 as it was the HEAD at the moment, the problem's still there.
Another sympthom - when the controller is working and I turn off extension (change 'classic' to none) on the fly, the game immediately bitches about that.
When control isn't working - the game doesn't notice that change.
I really tried a lot of thing I could think of except of running the linux version... probably will try that next week at work.
Well, if it's too hard to fix at the moment - I can live without it. Since I didn't find any recent posts about same problem I guess that could be related to specific game. Maybe I'll rent some others to try it.
Or even buy that damn extension and play it on console. I can live without "instant saves" and 120fps speedup.

Do you experience the extension switch problem with the "Wiimote New" plugin, or just the old wiimote plugin?

This behavior is the same for both of them. That's not the 'problem' I described, that's just an additional info that shows that emulator can't even get controller config from wiimote plugin in these situations.
Today I tried
- running debug version and comparing logs. Couldn't notice any substantial differences in working/not_working situations.
- changing keyboard from usb to standard ps/2. didn't help either

Thanks, already did that even before the post, later decided to ask in support since the main problem description included real controller and I used emulated one. Thought someone who owns the game could check the same problem with real wii remote.
I'll just sit and play usually without states... maybe use all 8 slots at once if I desperately need that save in some situations.
