Question
Hi. I just make this account for a help.

I saved my games in my removable harddisk.
My harddisk is so full that is only 1GB left.

So. I move some files including wii games. Into my Laptop
And when i startup dolphin. Everything is gone, savedata, settings, miis, channels

Why does moving games reset their saves ?. I dont want to play all over again.
I didnt update my dolphin and im using a dev release.

Before i move my files. Everything was fine. After i move JUST one game.
The savedata for the one particular game was gone. And then i move every wii games
Everything was gone including dolphin settings itself.

What do i do ?

Did you change your filepath to display your game files in the new path, or do you click open>run game?

Since i move those games. It doesnt exist in the harddisk anymore

So i changed the filepath to D:/Dolphin-x64/Games
While the .wad files i move it in the same folder except instead of /Games
It was /wads.

Short answer: i changed my filepath

Ok, so did that fix the issue, or are you just explaining that you did change the filepath?

Ok. Go to My Documents>Dolphin Emulator and copy all the files and folders.
Go to the folder where you have your dolphin.exe and make a folder called "User". Paste the files inside the folder. Then back in the folder with dolphin.exe, create a blank .txt file called "portable.txt"

That this does is that it copies your global settings and and puts it locally inside the Dolphin folder you're currenty using. This is to check o make sure that you can still read the game files. ( to rule out an issue with the global directory)
