Hi guys, sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm new to emulators so I'm kind of learning it all by stumbling through.
Anywho, I'm trying to play Super Mario Sunshine (Gamecube) on Dolphin, the game works perfectly but I'm having troubles with saving. I can't save, every time it tries it says that the device is not supported. I'm using the raw file that came with dolphin, i've specified for it to go into slot a... but it's just not happening? Any tips?

Thanks in advance!

reextract dolphin and start over
do not choose anything for the save file as sram.raw is not a memory card
only choose a specific file if you have a *working* memory card from another revision
just let dolphin format a memory card within the game
it will be called memorycardA.USA.raw or .EUR.raw or .JAP.raw depending on the region of the game

Okay thanks - however... when I first started playing the game and had just downloaded dolphin (and hadn't changed anything at all or chosen any files) saving still didn't work, it would say that the save card needed reformatting so i would click 'reformat' but it would just say it needed reformatting again... ?

Actually I have a question somewhat related: why if I edit dolphin.ini manually to use my memory card file from a previous rev, it will take "foo.USA.raw" just fine, but "foo.usa.raw" is no good? If there is some case sensitivity or something, can that be fixed? Should I file an issue?
