Why are save states freezing the emulator? Noticed this in particular with vulkan. Using Galaxy S20+

I don't think anyone has attempted to debug it as far as I know. I'm unable to check myself since my phone doesn't support Vulkan.

Savestates are broken in the Vulkan backend. If you want to use savestates use the OpenGL backend. Just make sure to make ingame saves too. Save states even when they're working, can have issues.

And then you have those games that straight out say "f*** you" with a giant middle finger to all of your progress if you start using save states. Oof.

So yeah, stay with the normal game save methods.

Just tried on Weihuoya's build with vulkan and save states don't crash.
