save states default folder?

Is there a setting in Dolphin for where I might be able to set the default location of save states so that when I choose to load one it will automatically go to that folder ?

I know that save states will usuallygo to the general configuration sub folder 'saved states', however every time I try to open a Save State with a hotkey my file navigator does not know or remember where to go and I have to manually navigate to the folder.

I am also wondering why save states do not saved with the file extension when saving with hotkey? this creates havoc for me when trying to open states, as a state is not visible In the file browser unless I select 'all file types' from my file browser menu

It seems to be hardcoded, so you can't.

As for file extensions, it depends on the state save slot. The extension is .s01 for the slot 1, .s02 for slot 2, and so on.

I remember dolphin before 5.0 had a migrated save location that makes the location the last place you saved to and loaded from, and both were seperate entities. Since I heavily use savestates, it's really inconvenient to navigate to a specific location, say my external drive, and navigate through folders just to save and load data with 5.0. Wish they would fallback to non-hardcoded.
