Information
I have used Dolphin for about 1 year and I really like this software. As it has started released Beta and Development Versions, I use the latest versions. But the problem I face is that the Save States made from old versions do not run on the latest versions.  Exclamation

I would really like if Developers add support of old version's Save states to run on the latest versions.

New versions sometimes change/add features or code that makes it incompatible with save states from older versions.
The main take away is that you shouldn't use save states when going between different versions and should only be used for a temporary save and not as a substitue for in-game saving which is compatible between versions.

Load the save state in the Dolphin version you created them in and then save normally there.
Than load the in-game savegame in the new Dolphin version.
That should work.

Edit: Just noticed you said games without save - are there really games on a Gamecube or Wii that don't support saving? In this case probably the only way would be to continue using the old version...
