After seeing a friend play crystal chronicles on stream, I wanted to play again, but my new tv doesn't have the required kabels, and my cube was dying anyways, so I decided to emulate/ stream.
Version 5 gave me stutters during gameplay, and I also read you cannot complete a certain level (Goblin wall) so I decided a new version, which worked, until I forgot about the non completeable level. I went back to version 4.0.9224.
I works great! I had some issues with stutter, but nothing a google search couldn't fix.
What ever, what cannot be fixed is saves.
Whatever I do it seems to remember an old save. I removed dolphin 5 from my program list. I removed the entire save folder. Started anew, used CGi instead of memeory card. And if I shut down the emulator and start it up, no issues. But after a reboot, old save is back.
When I saved I uses save states, which I cannot load since it says I need the 4.0.9224 emulator, which is the one I am using. Whever I finish 1 or 2 levels, it suddenly sees the old levels, but the game has no option of LOADING, except restarting the emulator, which gives me the old save again. Save states do work again.
I have NO clue how to fix this, any leads?
