Save game transfer

Hello. Sorry if this is a noob question. I was wondering if there is any why I can transfer GameCube game saves from one pc to another? I am playing Twilight Princess on my laptop and would like to take over on my desktop. I go into documents/Dolphin Emulator/GC Transfer the 2 RAW files and put them on the desktop in the same location. When I go to play the game it asks me to configure the memory card slot, It formats and the save game gets deleted. Am I doing this right? Is there a different way to do this? or is it just not possible?

I would just transfer the entire dolphin emulator folder.
