I am currently using the build 5.0-8987 on my Samsung Galaxy S8+ and I am running Guitar Hero 3 LOG. I was able to connect my wii guitar hero guitar to my phone and that works so I figured I would test it out. I can not get it to work on the emulator (probably was never supposed to work) but I figured I would ask because there might be a small chance someone would know something about this. Any help would be appreciated if not I can look into the coding my self and I will work on it down the road, thanks!

I used quite a few cables, first I plugged in the USB type C to USB adapter that is included with the Samsung Galaxy S8+, then I connected this adapter (https://www.raphnet-tech.com/products/wu.../index.php) to the USB, then connected the adapter to my Wii Guitar Hero Guitar. 11-02-2018, 05:01 PM
In that case, I think you should be able to get it to work if you set up an emulated Wii Remote in Dolphin, set its extension controller to Guitar, and map the buttons of that emulated guitar to your real guitar.

I was able to get this to work with what you told but. I can not find a button for the red key though. I am currently using dolphin from the playstore. I have the Samsung Galaxy S8+ as I stated before, it has the Snapdragon 835 (I'm sure you know) With this phone at default it was running slow and barely playable; after I tweaked a few settings I was able to get mostly 60fps at the title screens and such but in game it only gets around 45-55 fps. It is slowed down obviously but it's still playable. With the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 and the supposedly Snapdragon 855, do you think there is a chance that this game runs full speed on mobile with the new Samsung phone coming out? Obviously, there is no way to tell because we can't test it and we don't know the specs of the new processor but just speculation. |
