Same memory card for different builds: It's possible?

Well, searching and suggestions didn't got me anywhere, so... sorry if this was already posted.

I'm trying to set up a single .RAW memory card file for all builds I keep for different games. But if I put the raw file I want to use outside the ./User/GC/ folder, Dolphin doesn't accept it, even if I go to the settings window and choose it here: when starting up a game it still prompts about the absence of ./User/GC/MemoryCardA.USA.raw. Ten I return to the settings window and the change I just made is gone. Editing manually Dolphin.ini and starting Dolphin only trigger a error windows telling the same thing: that there's no ./User/GC/MemoryCardA.USA.raw.

The problem is that Dolphin doesn't read anything that isn't located on ./User/GC/MemoryCardA.USA.raw and ignores changes to this setting, complaining about the absence of the file (and games tell that the memory card is corrupt). That said, the option for choosing a different .raw file on a different location isn't working for me.

I'm not using non-Latin characters or symbols (well, only "&") in the folder paths this time. Spaces are a problem?

This behaviour was observed on Dolphin 3.0 SSE4.1 by Lectrode, and I think it's safe to assume it will repeat itself on older builds.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to center everything on a sngle RAW file?

Thanks, but I don't want to run a whole another program just to keep one single file synced. It appears to me that this function in Dolphin (select memory card location) is not working correctly, since it's locked to a user subfolder.

Config => GameCube => Slot A => ... and you'll be able to select the desired MemCard file (that can be in anywhere on your computer, even in another folder that isn't the User\GC folder)

I already did that, and I told it on the first post. The changes revert as soon as I hit OK.

It's working fine here... Try deleting your User\Config\Dolphin.ini file and setting up from beginning and see if works
