SADX severe freezing at fixed points within the game, freezes entire PC

I have been having a huge issue with SADX for the past couple of days that I can't seem to find a solution to, although I have tried most everything. So far, I have identified two points at which the game will consistently freeze, locking up not only Dolphin but my entire PC, requiring a force shutdown: after he first second and a half or so of the cutscene leading up to the Egg Hornet fight and the section of the Nights pinball game in Casinopolis where you see the Character Nights for a few seconds (I eventually used a save editor to skip over the Egg Hornet fight).

I was initially using a nkit iso, but I converted it to a normal iso and even started a new save file, and it still froze everything. I don't have any of the graphics settings tweaked, however I have messed around with them extensively and it has not helped. My cpu, core temps, and ram are all fine during gameplay and I have had no other performance issues whatsoever.

The reason I want to play SADX on Dolphin instead of Steam or the PC Disk version is because I wanted to use the SADX Repainted mod, yes I have tested the game on a normal SADX iso with a fresh save and I am still getting the exact same problem. I'm really at my wit's end here.

Anything that can crash your whole computer suggests a kernel level problem. Rather than it being Dolphin, it's probably a driver malfunctioning. Most likely graphics driver.

Or it could be the panic alert deadlock combined with exclusive fullscreen (assuming OP is on a recent version of Dolphin and not 5.0 stable). If that's the case, disabling dual core should work for avoiding it.

You are the bouncy castle man. I have seen you numerous times while trying to figure out a solution to the freezes with Google. It is an honor to be speaking to you.

I am not using exclusive fullscreen and I have tried both disabling dual core and idle skipping. It goes down the exact same. And yes, I am on the 5.0 stable build.

Two things:
1. try the latest dev build of Dolphin
2. Right-click the game in Dolphin's game list > Properties > Verify Tab > Verify to see if your dump is bad. You say you converted the game from nkit to an iso. You might have a bad dump and might need to redump the game.
